Connecting With Canadians

In recent years, NCC’s expanding presence has helped us connect with more Canadians than ever before.

Last year we connected with more Canadians than ever before, through:

  • Our social media channels, which allowed us to have conservation conversations with new and diverse audiences;
  • Our new blog, Land Lines, which has grown steadily since launching in November 2013 and drives on average between 9,000-10,000 unique visitors to our website (representing 10 percent of overall traffic to the website);
  • Media outreach, which grew by 12 percent in the last fiscal;
  • Three supplements in The Globe and Mail. The Globe reaches 1.08 million daily readers, and is the number one newspaper in reaching an influential audience.
  • More than 30 events from coast to coast, which engaged over 3,800 Canadians.
